About This Position

The Pay-per-Click Account Manager is in charge of building and managing digital advertising accounts on Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Pinterest Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and more. This position will require becoming a Google Ads certified individual specializing in Google Search, Display, Mobile, Video, and Analytics. PPC Account Managers are in charge of optimizing advertising accounts, discussing monthly results and opportunities with clients, coordinating with the data analytics team to build real-time dashboards, and defining important KPIs (key performance indicators) for each client. These duties are in addition to providing any necessary support for other service areas such as strategizing marketing assets (banner ads and videos), optimizing conversion rates, and conducting keyword research for content writing.


  • At least 1 year of experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Social Media Advertising
  • Some level of experience with or understanding of email marketing
  • Some level of experience with or understanding of front end web development or general website maintenance on common CMS platforms like WordPress and Squarespace.
  • Some experience with Excel and/or Google spreadsheets
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter and able to research best solutions to problems without much assistance
  • Generally approaches things with an interest in “Why?”
  • Seeks creative solutions rather than status quo
  • Likes working with people
  • Self-disciplined and able to operate well within deadlines
  • Excellent at working independently 
  • Open-minded and collaborative 
  • Comfortable with offering and receiving constructive criticism 

Ideal Skills

  • 3+ years of experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and/or Social Media Advertising
  • 3+ years of experience with Excel and/or Google spreadsheets
  • 1 year of experience with email marketing & marketing automation

    • Using advanced campaign strategies
  • Creating advertising assets
  • Creating report automations
  • Helping create Google product feeds
  • Assisting with Facebook product feeds
  • Reporting to the Director of PPC

Salary ranges between $35,000 – $45,000 and is based on experience. There is a potential for increased salary within one year based on performance, which is measured and monitored quarterly.
