About This Position

The Digital Marketing Account Manager will work directly with clients to provide comprehensive digital marketing solutions that best suit business needs. This role is in charge of building and managing digital advertising accounts on Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Pinterest Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and more. This position will require either already being or becoming a Google Ads certified individual specializing in Google Search, Display, Mobile, Video, and Analytics. Digital Marketing Account Managers are in charge of optimizing advertising accounts, discussing monthly results and opportunities with clients, coordinating with the data analytics team to build real-time dashboards, defining important KPIs (key performance indicators) for each client, and providing any necessary support to other service areas, such as strategizing marketing assets (banner ads and videos), conversion rate optimization, and conducting keyword research for content writing.

The ideal candidate will understand when and why a company must employ local SEO vs. PPC advertising, how to define KPIs for social media, and how to build a dynamic email marketing workflow.

Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics and Social Media Advertising
  • 2-3 years of experience with email marketing
  • 2-3 years of experience with front end web development or general website maintenance on common CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and Squarespace.
  • Strong experience with Excel and/or Google spreadsheets
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter and able to research best solutions to problems without much assistance
  • Generally approaches things with an interest in “Why?”
  • Seeks creative solutions rather than status quo
  • Likes working with people
  • Self-disciplined and operates well with deadlines
  • Excellent at working independently 
  • Open-minded and collaborative 
  • A numbers person
  • Comfortable with offering and receiving constructive criticism 

Ideal Skills

Extensive experience with or understanding of:

  • Hubspot, Marketo, or other marketing automation platforms
  • Using video and/or podcast storytelling to drive marketing results

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing 6+ client accounts, each ranging in service area solutions
  • Strategizing marketing solutions and creating benchmarks of success
  • Managing conversion rate optimization reviews
  • Managing full SEO audits
  • Generating and interpreting client reports
  • Managing and optimizing advertising platforms
    • Campaign research and planning
    • Audience targeting
    • Bid optimizations
    • Using advanced campaign types (e.g. RLSA with DSA)
  • Creating product feeds for Google and Facebook
  • Creating advertising assets
  • Creating report automations
