About This Position

The Pay-per-Click Account Manager is in charge of building and managing digital advertising accounts on Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Pinterest Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and more. This position will require becoming a Google Ads certified individual specializing in Google Search, Display, Mobile, Video, and Analytics. PPC Account Managers are in charge of optimizing advertising accounts, discussing monthly results and opportunities with clients, coordinating with the data analytics team to build real-time dashboards, defining important KPIs (key performance indicators) for each client, and providing any necessary support to other service areas, such as strategizing marketing assets (banner ads and videos), conversion rate optimization, and conducting keyword research for content writing.

Requirements

  • Some level of experience with or understanding of Google Ads, Google Analytics and/or Social Media Advertising
  • Some level of experience with or understanding of email marketing
  • Some level of experience with or understanding of front end web development or general website maintenance on common CMS platforms like WordPress and Squarespace.
  • Some experience with Excel and/or Google spreadsheets
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter and able to research best solutions to problems without much assistance
  • Generally approaches things with an interest in “Why?”
  • Seeks creative solutions rather than status quo
  • Likes working with people
  • Self-disciplined and operates well with deadlines
  • Excellent at working independently
  • Open-minded and collaborative
  • A numbers person

Job Responsibilities

  • Generating client reports
  • Creating advertising assets
  • Creating report automations
  • Helping create Google product feeds
  • Assisting with Facebook product feeds
  • Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager
  • Managing and optimizing advertising platforms
    • Campaign research and planning
    • Audience targeting
    • Bid optimizations
    • Using advanced campaign types (e.g. RLSA with DSA)
